REQUIRED EQUIPMENT AND UNIFORMS All Riptides players wear low rise black pants, black belts, plain black socks. No short or tank tops are allowed during any activities. PHOTO ALBUM OF SOFTBALL VS FACE MANDATORY FACEMASK POLICY (softballjunk.com) All infield players 14 and under are required to wear facemasks when playing for the Cape Cod Riptides. All older players are strongly recommended the same (especially 1B, 3B and pitchers). Here are a few reasons why:
NOTICE ABOUT REGISTRATION FEE ASA requires us to register and pay insurance for every player that steps on our field. This insurance covers any injuries that may occur on the playing field during practices, clinics or games. ASA registration comes in the form of an ID card that is good for playing year 2010 for that player and can be used to play for other teams/programs. We therefore require a registration fee for placements/evaluations.
Scholarship Opportunities The Cape Cod Riptides will work with whatever your financial situation is in order to get your player on the field. Please let us know how we can help.
